Catholic Advocacy Day is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, the Diocese of Tulsa, Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City and Catholic Charities of Tulsa on March 30, 2017 at the Oklahoma State Capitol.
Catholic Advocacy Day is an opportunity for Catholics from across Oklahoma to promote and celebrate Catholic values and teachings through the legislative process. Your presence will only strengthen the influence on our state’s legislators.
The Catholic Advocacy Day presentation will be at 8:15 a.m. in the Blue Room on the 2nd floor.
Legislators are invited to attend to meet you, their constituents. Archbishop Paul S. Coakley of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and Bishop David Konderla of the Diocese of Tulsa will speak on important issues and pending legislation will be discussed.
A Legislative Update will be held at 7 p.m. on March 28 at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, 1232 N. Classen Blvd. Richard, Klinge, the Director of Advocacy and Legal Services at Catholic Charities will be speaking about bills that will be reviewed on Advocacy Day.
